Ruth Terras in cooperation with Aare created a gift set for a true Estonian man who loves sauna and relaxing.

It's easy and dignified to show your gratitude and appreciation with a gift box designed with the Estonian man in mind.

A truly succulent oily soap made from natural brown bear fat and honeysuckle. The fat comes from bears hunted in Estonia and the honeysuckle is hand-harvested from spruce trees that have shed it due to injury. Beef fat soaps are cooked according to a recipe that is about 100 years old. The soap is also made from soapstone and cooking salt. The soap is boiled in a specific moon phase.

Why the soap?

It has been known for ages that fats have curative properties. Also, honeysuckle was an ingredient in many ointments in ancient times. By reviving the wisdom of the ancients, a soap made from the boiled wax has become a highly valued product.

Usage

Bear fat soap is primarily intended for use in the sauna, but is also suitable for use wherever soap is used.

More about essential oil kits

Classical set is timeless and classic. Eucalyptus, juniper and lemongrass essential oils have been among the Estonians' favourite sauna oils for years.

"Time has scent" the set includes three different blends of essential oils.

• 4.55 AM Pure and Daring has a cold and fresh scent. Get ready for the cold cloud that is slowly descending on you.
• 6.07 AM Pure and Serene is like a morning walk in a spring fir forest, clear and warm.
• 2.48 PM Pure and Spunky, as the name suggests - spunky.

Favourites of Summer  the set includes this summer's favourites: spearmint, lime and lemon essential oils. All of these essential oils are characterised by freshness and lightness.

The kit includes:

• approx 110g bar of soap without sachet wrapper. All soaps are different sizes, shapes and weights.
